The hammer mill is designed for grinding of a wide variety of products into smaller particles. Hammer mill model ”D” with inlet in top and bottom outlet.
Hammer mill model ”P” for pneumatic suction or blowing transport system, with inlet in top and bottom outlet pipe socket. The mill is used in connection with a EUROflow self-cleaning nozzle filter or cyclone, and ventilator.
Product is transported to inlet by a screw conveyor or similar equipment, which can be regulated with a frequency converter. When the product falls into grinding chamber, it is split by the rotation of the hammers.
Replaceable wear resistant concave segments in top of grinding chamber stop product from unnecessary rotation and hereby increase grinding efficiency. The screen size and type determine the particle size distribution (PSD) and fineness of the product. Vacuum increases the capacity and cooling during the grinding process.
